Accelerometers
The B-500 three-axis accelerometer based on LITEF´s latest MEMS technology (MEMS = Micro Electro Mechanical System) delivers temperature-compensated acceleration data or speed increments in all three orthogonal measuring axes over a serial data interface.
Attitude and Heading Reference Systems
The EF2000 IMU is an inertial Attitude and Heading Reference System relevant to flight safety that was developed for the flight control in the Eurofighter Typhoon.
Computing Units
The FCDC is an exceptionally reliable computer that was developed in accordance with the ARINC-600 standard for civil aviation. It is used to monitor other on-board components of the flight control system of the Airbus A320 family.
Inertial Measurement Units
Based on the broad portfolio of inertial sensors, LITEF can flexibly create customized, 6-axis inertial measurement units. The most difficult requirements in terms of accuracy, form factor and interfaces can be met.
Navigation Data Distributor & Related Sensors
LITEF offers a highly dynamic navigation data integrator (NDI) that goes far beyond conventional standard solutions. Developed for complex maritime operating conditions, the NDI enables intelligent acquisition, plausibility checking and weighting of a wide variety of sensor data – including the seamless fusion of GNSS signals with proprietary inertial sensor technology.
With the LCI-100 and the ISA-100, LITEF provides a flexible inertial measuring unit with a 3-axis FOG triad and a 3-axis accelerometer triad.
The LCI-100N fibre-optic north finder provides highly precise position data even under dynamic conditions without the use of GNSS or a magnetic compass.
The LCM-300B magnetometer is a very precise 3-axis strapdown sensor that measures the magnetic field. It determines the direction and strength of the Earth’s magnetic field and transmits this information to the AHRU.
Based on decades of experience with fiber optic gyroscopes and the development of accelerometers based on MEMS technology, LITEF successfully established its LCR-100 Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) with a broad number of airborne platforms.
