Missiles & Stabilisation

Precision and efficiency for modern missile systems.

When every centimetre counts, LITEF ensures precision

With over 60 years of experience in developing inertial sensors for military applications, LITEF has developed solutions that revolutionise the precision and efficiency of modern missile systems.

Applications Missiles & Stabilisation

Inertial measurement units developed by us (“tactical and navigation grade”) integrate advanced technologies to improve system accuracy, resistance to interference signals and long-term operability without additional maintenance costs. The products are designed specifically for use in complex military scenarios and offer exceptional robustness against external influences, which makes them ideal for use in the most demanding environments.

The high-performance rotation rate sensors and accelerometers developed and produced by LITEF are specially designed for applications under the harshest operating and environmental conditions (e.g. shock, vibration). They are distinguished in particular by low drift, high stability and low noise. This enables highly precise stabilisation of, for example, electro-optical systems on helicopters or platforms with high shock and vibration loads (alternatively: medium-calibre weapons with extremely high rate of fire or even with large calibres). The FOG and MEMS sensors from LITEF are manufactured in series production numbers for this purpose and are continuously adapted to market requirements with regard to accuracy and robustness.

Advantages of LITEF technology

Higher precision and accuracy

LITEF inertial systems increase the precision of weapons or stabilisation systems, even under extreme conditions, and provide stable trajectory monitoring.

Robustness and reliability

The technologies are resistant to environmental influences and electromagnetic interference, which guarantees their usability in various scenarios.

Independence in technology and product development

With in-house chip design capabilities and production in its own cleanrooms, LITEF guarantees the highest degree of technology independence.

Proven technologies for the highest demands

LITEF inertial sensors or systems combine decades of experience with state-of-the-art technology for maximum precision and efficiency. With the core technologies FOG and MEMS, we develop solutions that are compact, robust and extremely reliable – ideal for applications with limited space and high requirements. These systems offer unparalleled accuracy and responsiveness, which are essential for modern military operations.

Technology leadership in missiles systems

Being one of the leading suppliers of inertial sensors, we develop a complete product range from individual sensors to complex systems. Our deep understanding of the requirements of missile systems or stabilisation applications allows us to develop customised solutions that are perfectly aligned to the specific needs of modern missile systems or vehicles.

LITEF systems ensure the highest precision even under the most extreme operating conditions.
